ACTIVE AT HOME:
SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS & DISABLITIES (SEND)
Based on the evidence, the Chief Medical Officer guidelines for children and young people can be applied to disabled children and young people, though it is emphasised that they need to be adjusted for each individual, based on that child’s exercise capability, capacity and any special health issues or risks. For specific health-related and physical movement difficulties, always consult your GP, medical advice and specialist guidance.
