Together Fund is Sport England funding which aims to help reduce inequalities in physical activity. County Durham Sport have been working with community organisations across the county to distribute this funding. Jubilee Fields Community Centre is a community partner within the Active Shildon pilot. They provide a central place for the community to get together, offering a range of fun and exciting events and activities for a variety of age groups. With funding from Together Fund, they have been able to provide free multiport sessions for children and young people in Shildon.

County Durham Sport recently visited the centre to see how the sessions were going. Check out the video below where we spoke to Sally Ann, the Project Leader, Christian, the Coach delivering the sessions, as well as Karl and his son, Bobby, who attends the sessions. It was brilliant to see the success of the project, particularly all the fun the children were having!
