Abi McCourt, from Durham was a member of the U14 girls team.

All five players were selected for England after seven month selection process involving over 250 players from all over the country. The five took part in an intensive five day training camp with competitive games against high class Slovakian opposition. The U13 boys team were very impressive as they won two of their three games and drew the third. All four boys contributed to the scoring with Finn Bradon finishing as leading goal scorer with four goals. Although the U14 girls team did not win any of their three games, there was a huge improvement in performance between the first game and the last game. The team was coached by Nicci Wardell and Jenny Hehir, both from Durham. The players and coaches have now returned to their respective clubs for the conclusion of the domestic ice hockey season. The majority play for Billingham Stars and will join back up with the England programme in late July.
